Madurai is the oldest and prestigious city of Tamil Nadu which is located on the banks of the river Vaigai. It is the second largest city and called the ‘Temple City’. It is also called ‘Koodal Maanagar’, ‘Kalaachaara Thalainagar’, ‘Malligai Maanagar’, ‘Thoonga Nagaram’ and ‘Thiruvizha Nagaram’.

The Nilgri Hills consist of a range of mountains with 24 peaks situated over 2000 meters above the sea level. KANYAKUMARI - Tourist places & shopping spots

Kanyakumari is a town located at the southernmost end of the Indian Peninsula. It is also called “Cape Comorin” and a most popular tourist place in India.
